About the Job
  • Assist the executive manager in the preparation and management of meetings, including coordinating the development of the agenda, logistical arrangements, drafting of reports and minutes of the meetings, as well as their final dissemination
  • Assist the executive manager to monitor and follow up on the various initiatives and important matters under her responsibilities
  • Manage all administrative matters pertaining to the office, including establishing and effective filing system, preparation of travel authorizations leave requests, and expense claims
  • Act as the contact person in the office and effectively manage requests for information and queries from within and outside
  • Draft responses to various official correspondences
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the executive manager
Job Requirements
  • A degree in a scientific discipline, e.g. Business, agricultural development, agricultural economics, international relations, communication;
  • Good understanding of organizational processes and procedures;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and audiences
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English;
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and web applications such as Google Drive
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills; Personal qualities • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Strategic thinker
  • An upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong work ethics and integrity
