Job Description: Marketing and Sales Officer
Starting date: February 1
Hours: Full-time (40 Hours / Week)
Supervised by Director
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Research and develop revenue-generation strategies for the organization, including advertising and
strategic media partnerships.
2. Set a targeting plan for local and network-wide sponsors. Identify and approach potential sponsors with
market research conducted by the organization.
3. Design advertising space in print and online publications.
4. Manage periodic market research in the local areas where Bashkatib works.
5. Establish relationships with national and regional media professionals.
with the aim of generating content-sharing partnerships.
6. Diligently document all activities.
7. Present company solutions to potential clients
8. Enhance our customers’ retention, take their loyalty to the next level and seek new partnerships.
9. Set and implement sales targets on monthly basis
Qualifications
1. Degree in Marketing or Business. Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred.
2. Strong, effective communicator with ability to make persuasive presentations.
3. Demonstrated experience with branding, market research, and/or securing sponsors for news
publications.
4. Ability to work efficiently and to meet deadlines.
5. Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.
6- Ability to collect, organize and effectively utilize data
7- Creative and have strong problem solving skills

Job Description: Social Media Graphic Designer
Hours: Full-Time

Supervised by: Social Media Manager
Starting Date: 1 February 2017
Bashkatib is looking for a creative Graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to design solutions with high visual impact. You will be responsible for designing a wide range of different graphics for the company. Based in downtown Cairo, Bashkatib is building a network of community media outlets in marginalized areas throughout Egypt, managed entirely by teenagers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supporting Bashkatib team with any graphic design requirements.
* Designing all the company’s graphics including website and social media’s posts, online banners, GIFs and other needed materials.
* Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts
* Working alongside marketing and social media teams to come up with new marketing and outreach ideas.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in any field
* 1-3 years experience in graphic designing
* Perfect knowledge in Photoshop and illustrator
* Good knowledge in video-editing
* Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
* Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
* Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
* Perfect command of Arabic and English.
