Job descriptions:
•identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them;
•keeping a constant check on stock levels;
•conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;
•processing payments and invoices;
•forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
•developing an organization’s purchasing and pricing strategy;
•producing reports and statistics using computer software;
Requirements:
-Minimum two years of experience in retail supermarkets or related field is a must
– Good analytical skills
– Good time management skills
– Critical thinking
– Open to change and new ideas
