Leading Houston based Solutions Provider partnered with Microsoft, Cisco, VMware & EMC is in need of a senior level Director of Infrastructure Managed Services where you will have the opportunity to join a company experience extremely rapid growth.
Company has hundreds of clients in numerous verticals (commercial, SMB, enterprise, OIL / Energy, etc.) that they provide both Managed Services and Cloud Solutions for and they need someone who can keep up with the fast paced nature of their business.
If you are a Director or Senior Level Manager with extensive experience managing teams of Infrastructure Admins / Engineers in fast-paced, high availability environments, please read on:
What you need:
– 7 to 10+ years of IT Infrastructure / Data Center management expertise
– Strong experience managing teams of senior level Microsoft, Virtualization, Storage and Compute Engineers
– Strong experience hiring and managing Tier 1, 2 & 3 level Support Engineers
– Experience working for an MSP or Cloud solutions Provider in a similar space is a big plus
– Strong experience managing teams of up to 10-20 Systems Admins, Engineers and / or Help Desk / Support personnel
What you’ll be doing:
– Working with a talented team of Microsoft Systems, Virtualization, Storage Compute and Help Desk Admins to maintain stabilization and / or refresh hundreds of clients network infrastructure environments
– Successfully drive the planning, architecture, deployment, and management of business critical IT infrastructure, including web services, Storage Area Networks, security, network design, disaster recovery, and databases
– Hire / Fire / Mentorship responsibilities
– Work in conjunction with Network Engineering, Voice Engineering, and Cloud Computing teams to provide highest level of service possible to all existing and new clients
