Oracle Developer
Responsibilities:
1.Understand the project requirement by interviewing business units, researching information from available sources such as from subject matter experts or existing programs/processes. Write design documents and programming specifications. Design documents will include UML, Sequence Diagrams and traceability to Business Requirements

2.Implement and contribute to project plan creation.

3.Organize and prioritize time for successful delivery of projects as appropriate.

4.Perform peer code reviews for technical implementation and adherence to business specifications.

5.Adhere to all coding standards and practices.

6.Support management in performing activities as assigned.

7.Demonstrate technical leadership

8.Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills by resolving technical problems in a timely manner.

9.Participate in research of new technology solutions

Requirements:
Technical:
•1-2 years experience with SQL (advance queries, tuning) and PL/SQL.
•4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent experience.
•1-2 years experience with Oracle Forms 6i (using standard templates) and Oracle Reports 6i.
•A minimum of 2 years development experience in an 6i Oracle Applications environment is a must.
•Good understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, tablespaces etc.)
•Good at debugging complex application issues.
•Oracle Application development in UNIX/Linux preferred.
•Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting is a plus.
•Experience in development life cycle of projects: requirements gathering, business and technical designs, development, quality assurance, deployment and support and documentation.
•Ability to evaluate and analyze complex programming logic coding problems and develop solutions within existing parameters.

Organizational:

• Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.

• Ability to create and organize project plans and technical specifications.

Communications:
• Effective writing and diagramming skills.

General:

• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.

• Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity.

• Ability to function as an effective team member.

• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.
