1. Good knowledge in swap project
2. agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed
3. drawing up a detailed plan and schedule for each stage of the project
4. selecting and leading a project team
5. negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
6. making sure that each stage is progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards
7. reporting regularly on progress to senior managers and the client
8. managing risks to avoid delays.
