As-Salam International Hospital In Maadi is seeking to hire :
Patient Safety & Risk Manager:
Main Duties:
Oversee the functions related to OVRs performed by the patient safety officer.
Prepare periodic reports on the adverse occurrences in ASSIH.
Participate in the root cause analysis teams to investigate all sentinel events and near misses and prepare credible action plans.

Conduct risk assessment activities to identify general areas of potential risk in all clinical aspects of patient care and safety, establish corrective action plans, and monitor the outcomes of such plans in order to reduce malpractice claims and the probability of harm to patients.
Perform Failure Mode and Effect (FMEA) analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain a confidential database on all patient-related risk management cases.
Review and update the policies and procedures related to informed consent and confidentiality of information based on findings.
Serve on hospital committees related to patient safety and risk management.
Ensure compliance with related accreditation standards.
Participate in the development of policy and procedures effecting organizational safety.
Provide staff education related to patient safety and risk management.

Education:
Graduate education in nursing, pharmacy, medicine or other health related field
Certification:
Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)

Experience:
3 years in hospital quality, patient safety and risk management
