Main tasks and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating software development activities throughout the project, including key design decisions for the technology, structure and configuration of the system.
2. Architecture and design.
3. Participate in code development by actively writing code.
4. Provide technical leadership for project and team through design and code reviews, ensuring best technical practices are applied.
5. Participate in the interviewing, coaching, overseeing and appraising team members.
6. Responsible for ensuring project estimates and schedules are created.
7. Map the manpower needs for his team and participate in the recruitment process.
8. Assists in technical backlog prioritization, planning and communication.
9. Provides technical guidance and coaching to team members.
10. Evaluate new technologies and evaluating how they could be integrated.
Required skills and qualifications:
1. Education: B.SC. Of Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
2. Experience: 3+ years
3. Experience leading a team and collaborating with developers and analysts
4. Excellent English communications skills (verbal and written)
5. Excellent organizational and coordination skills
6. Excellent incident identification and problem solving skills
7. Some hands-on experience of web presentation technologies (Html & JavaScript – AJAX).
8. Good practical experience in XML & JSON.
9. Good practical experience in J2EE web components and containers (Servlets, JSP and JSF…etc).
10. Good practical experience in J2EE business components (OSGi, spring frameworks & EJB … etc).
11. Good practical experience in J2EE ORM frameworks (JPA).
12. Good practical experience in J2EE integration middleware libraries (Java Messaging).
13. Good practical experience in databases (SQL & NoSQL databases).
