A big company working in FMCG, specialized in Restaurants and catering needs to hire “Maintenance Manager” for the following Job description and criteria.
Job Description
To manage the engineering operations in terms of constructions and maintenance activities ensuring that all phases are completed in a timely and cost effective manner and according to the company policies and procedures
1. Prepares the annual budget and operational plans for the Engineering department, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategies, and submits to the CEO for final approval.
2. Establishes the Engineering Policies and Procedures manuals ensuring total compliance by all company employees. Also updates the manuals upon any occurring procedures/regulation change, and ensure comprehensive communication to the concerned parties.
3. Sets the standards and performance measures (KPIs) for the Engineering department, and cascades it down to his/her direct reports and monitors their timely implementation, ensures the achievement of the set objectives.
4. Manages activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems through performing day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors; planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
5. Approves the technical documents, design drawing and calculations, outlets drawing submitted by Design Engineers, ensuring it is appropriately calculated and compliant to the required specifications.
6. Ensures and approves that the materials are compliant to the product specification and at the right time.
7. Ensures the implementation of the inspection process and reviews projects ensuring their total compliance to the company policies and procedures.
8. Prepares and analyses plans, designs, and calculations, in accordance with established codes, standards and drawings.
9. Acts as a technical advisor to the complex problems occurring during the implementation of the project
10. Liaises with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
11. Reports to CEO
12. Responsible of Construction Section Head And Maintenance Section Head

People Management:
1. Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time.
2. Monitors the implementation of the on-the-job training to ensure an on-going skills development process to increase team competence.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education :
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
From 10 -15 years experience in the same field with at least 5 years in a similar managerial position & field
Proficiency in computer skills (including Primavera, AutoCAD).
