Mechanic II – Farming
Core Purpose of Job:
To ensure the 100% availability of the broad range of agricultural, industrial and animal feeding machinery.
Responsibilities
1. To check the mechancial operation and functionality of feeding, cultivation, transportation, trucks, loaders, light vehicles, tractors, harvesting, pumping, well equipment and generators.
2. To carry out routine and specified services as per manufacturers and Almarai maintenance manuals.
3. To maintain, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to manufacturers specifications and Almarai standards.
4. To overhaul equipments as directed by the Workshop Foreman.
5. To ensure machinery hours, parts consumed and work carried out is recorded accurately on the job card.
6. To assist Mech I and Workshop foreman when required.
7. To be able to carry out repairs on heavy agricultural, industrial equipment and vehicles.
8. To be able to relate repair procedures to other farm equipment.
9. To be able to diagnose low-voltage electrical problems and rectify them.
