Quality Control Engineer at Orion Food Industries – 6th Of October, Giza

About the Job

Quality Control Engineer is needed for Orion Food Industries Company in 6th of October – 6th Industrial Zone with below major responsibilities:

Maintain effective communication with government and labor agencies interested in quality and food safety

Supervision of internal audits is based on HACCP – FSMS – GMP systems and standards

Development of quality systems for imports of agricultural raw materials and packaging materials

Creating specifications of the raw materials and the final product shall be set according to the requirements of the customer and the standard specifications

Participate in the audit committee on the import of agricultural raw materials from their own farms to ascertain the required standards

Supervising the production steps to ensure that the procedures are implemented correctly

Conducting Internal audit on quality systems to ensure that they are achieved as required

Having R & D perspective to raise the quality and safety of existing products and innovate new products

Work to ensure customer satisfaction and ensure that complaints are monitored and corrective action taken

Cooperate with the Purchasing Department in identifying the quality needs of suppliers

Coordinate with the production and maintenance department to ensure that they understand their current and future needs for product selection, development plans and cost estimates and schedule these needs for laboratory operations

Follow up the production process of non-conforming, re-manufactured, and unusable monitoring to measure the efficiency of the production process and manufacturing defects

Approve and review some quality reports such as :

Daily report which is submitted to the production manager, needs management and plant managera

Monthly and annual report which is submitted to the Managing Director and the Plant Manager

Job Requirements

6th of October residence or nearby

Bachelor degree in “Agriculture – Division “Food Science – Food Industries – Chemistry -Microbiology- Orchards”

Full awareness on:

GMP-HACCP-GSP-Personal Hygiene Techniques – pest control methods

Skills:

Perfect communication skills with different levels and personalities

Perfect Problem analysis, decision making and speed of action skills

Fluent English “Speaking & Writing”
