About the Job

Assist the Student Life Manager in developing, implementing, and managing student activities, plans, policies, and services which support and cater to student needs and the university’s mission, vision and goals.
Assist in determining and interpreting student life needs on an individual and collective basis; advise students and resolve problems as necessary.
Assist in organizing on and off-campus activities such as sports tournaments, trips and
international events where other universities might be competing.
Assist in designing, developing, and facilitating a wide range of workshops, seminars, training sessions, and retreats for students and staff.
Assist in supervising and managing the budget for major student events, conferences, trips and concerts, and perform cost analyses and reviews.
Participate in recruiting students for major university functions and activities, and in planning developmental workshops, and presentations for the chosen teams.
Assist in conducting focus group, surveys and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness and student satisfaction for the programs offered.
Coordinate peer tutoring, guidance and advocate for students in all aspects of student life
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Excellent command of Arabic and English languages, both orally and in writing.
Team player, who is capable of fostering a cooperative and amiable work environment.
Creative thinker, flexible, willing to travel and ready to work under pressure
Strong knowledge of student development theories, strategies, and practices in a collegiate environment.
