About the Job
- Responsible for configuring computer hardware, network, operating systems and applications.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Supporting staff/clients through a series of actions, either physically or remotely.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware / software faults.
- Replacing parts as required
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
- Testing and evaluating new technologies
- First line support (Hardware / Infrastructure) at the factory and other branches
- Supervise and direct infrastructure team on installing and maintaining cables and devices
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role. 1-3 years
- Good working knowledge of the following operating systems: -. Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 and Windows 2003 / 2008 Server with Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of Lotus Notes.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP and Terminal Services
- Knowledge of WAN / LAN / WIFI and TCP/IP
- Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software
- Good working knowledge of the following, devices and application:
- Active Directory, Servers, CCNA, VMware, Windows Operating Systems
- Problem Solving, Thin Clients, VPN, Security, VOIP Astrix , Data Center, Desktop Application,
- SonicWALL, SPAM Filter Firewalls, Veeam Backup, MPLS, Internet Aggregation, Camera systems, DVR,
- Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software
