A manufacturing company located in Alexandria is hiring a “Quality Manager” with the following criteria:
• From 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality
• Understanding of ISO & all other quality-related certifications
• Preferred experience in FMCG or Agricultural products
Accountabilities:
• Ensuring that all clients receive goods that are free from defects
• Setting quality guidelines to be followed by the production department
• Regularly selecting random samples from the production line for testing against the guidelines that they set
• Ensuring that the raw materials that are received from suppliers meet the quality requirement that was agreed on
• Ensure compliance with quality tests required by certification entities e.g. ISO
• Assuring that quality control procedures are done according to planned quotas of samples and scheduled tests and reviews.
• In some cases some operational excellence initiatives to improve organization’s efficiency and profitability (e.g. improving waste) is handled by Quality assurance.
