About the Job:
– Position involves creating visually appealing and professional interfaces for web sites and web/mobile applications.
– Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
– Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
– Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
– Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
– Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
– Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
– Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
job requirements:
– Hands-on Experience in Responsive Design & Bootstrap, and Material Design.
– Strong experience with Adobe Photoshop
– Knowledge of typography, iconography, color, layout, and data visualization.
– Mastery of common visual design tools (Photoshop, Sketch, and Illustrator).
– Knowledge of basic front-end languages: HTML5,CSS, CSS3, and Javascript.
– Ability to design within the confines of Standards and Patterns.
– Mobile and responsive design experience.
– Open to receiving objective criticism and respond upon it.
– Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
