Remedial Management senior officer Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt
Job description
Manages SME Banking clients’ remedial customers through Rehab/Restructuring and responsible to communicate with Legal and/or Hard Collections Officer(s). Responsible for directing activities that will maximize recovery of past due balances and exceeding collection targets
1. Ensures compliance to delinquency and classification policies and procedures for SME Banking.

2. Identifies best ways to deal with Remedial customers, through Rehab/Restructuring and/or through communication with Legal for Hard Collections to ensure targets and goals are met in terms of delinquency, losses and recovery for SME’s clients.

3. Creates new techniques, procedures to improve restructuring and the collection process

4. Ensures that Rehab/Restructuring process abides by the Wholesale Bank Policy, the SME Program and Manual.

5. Ensures Collection costs are within pre-set budget.
6. Prepares a monthly report to be submitted to the SME Banking Head.
7. Gives feedback to SME Banking Unit for necessary changes in the credit policies, if needed.

8. Communicates with external collection agencies, if required.

Desired Skills and Experience

 University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics.
 Proper training including an advanced credit training (problem recognition / remedial management) Minimum Experience:
 Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in various aspects of collection, recovery and credit risk management.
 Good experience of credit checking, soft & hard collection, and settlements, as well as relevant litigations
 Excellent management and negotiation skills.
 Excellent Computer Skills-word, Excel, PowerPoint
