As-Salam International Hospital in Maadi is seeking to hire:
Quality Information Analyst:
Main Duties:
Responsible for database entry from several data and information sources including the hospital information system, quality management, infection control, utilization review, medical records, or other hospital services/departments.
Update the collected data on a monthly basis to maintain continuity.
Assist other hospital departments and services in the selections and prioritization of performance measures.
Review hospital-wide and department-specific indicators to determine that they reflect the scope of services and comply with accreditation standards.
Monitor selected hospital-wide and department-specific indicators.
Analyze the collected data to identify graphs and trends and make valid conclusions.
Compare hospital rates with similar benchmarks or best-practices.
Highlight significant findings to the hospital leadership to support their decisions.
Perform data validation on selected monitors in accordance with accreditation standards.
Maintain a hospital-wide dash-boards including the relevant information
Utilize computer programs such as excel and other statistical packages to perform statistical analysis, present graphs and tables, identify trends, and generate statistical reports.
Provide assistance and guidance on statistical analysis to the members of the quality management department and other staff as needed.
Education:
Graduate education in nursing, pharmacy, medicine or other health related field
Certification:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Experience:
3 years in hospital quality, patient safety and risk management
