Description: A research assistant position is available in Biomedical Science Program. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Tamer Salem for interdisciplinary research areas including, virus-like particles applications, microbiome, gene delivery, vaccine development and others.
Other Skills:
A wide background in cell and molecular biology techniques
Strong writing and presentation skills
Experience with tissue culture techniques
Background in physics is preferable
Requirements:
Applicants should have a B.Sc. degree (M.Sc. is preferred) in microbiology, molecular biology or related field
Detailed C.V. including full publication list.
Brief statement of a research career plan (not more than 1 page)
Experience with HCV is a strong plus
