Job Description:
Responsibility:
Software design, development and delivery of one or more software components
Write unit test plans and perform unit testing of completed software sub-systems
Apply software design techniques to translate functional requirements to detailed design
Participate in technical discussions; help drive key architectural and design decisions
Experience:
Experience working in a BI/DW environment as ETL developer.
In-depth knowledge and experience with DB design concepts
In-depth knowledge and experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Ability to fine tune ETL jobs, SQL procedures
Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012, Oracle 10/11 relational databases
Experience with columnar-storage databases like Vertica a big plus
Experience with Windows and Unix environments (including shell scripting)
Experience with Multi-dimensional Databases (SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) – MDX)
Experience with BI tools related to SharePoint (Performance Point, Power Pivot, Power View, Excel Services…) a plus
Experience working with/at a Wireless Carrier a big plus
Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology a plus
Skills:
Hands-on experience working with Visual Studio Suite
Hands-on experience working with SQL Server Suite
Hands-on experience writing .NET/C# applications
Hands-on experience working with Configuration Management tool
Good English communication skills (verbal, written)
The candidate must be a team player, result oriented, resourceful and flexible
Microsoft certification a plus
Education:
BS or Master degree in an IT field or CCE is preferred
