Ecovis Elkadeem & Co. (a German accounting firm in Heliopolis) is hiring a “Junior Accountant”
• *Qualifications* / *Responsibilities*:
Bachelor’s degree English section is must.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, withholding tax etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Data Entry and Book Keeping, Enter data into computer system using defined computer programs (Quick Books) (an accounting system)
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• *Skills*:
• Proven experience as a “junior” accountant
• Active learning, and listening
• Fluent in English
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to details
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
*Working hours*: 9 AM – 5 PM (Sun – Thu) salary depends on experience
