Singapore Embassy in Cairo, Egypt[JOB VACANCY]

The Embassy is looking for a qualified candidate for the post of Administration Executive.

This is a full-time, office-based position and the hire will work under the direct supervision of the Embassy’s Head of Administration, a Home-Based Staff (HBS).

The successful applicant will be offered an initial fixed-term contract of one year, which may be extended for the same or longer periods, at the Embassy’s discretion.

[JOB SCOPE]
– Arrange and coordinate appointments, meetings and events for HBS, as well as correspondences for these activities.
– Manage the Embassy’s public communication channels (telephone and email) and provide responses when necessary.
– Manage the schedules of the Embassy’s staff and the deployment of the Embassy’s transportation and related resources.
– Provide support to the Embassy’s Head of Administration related to the organisation of official and social events, Embassy functions and high-level visits.

[MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS]
– Egyptian Citizen with a good Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
– Excellent English and Arabic language skills.
– Strong administrative, time management and interpersonal skills.
– Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage and de-conflict the demands of multiple internal and external stakeholders.
– Organised, resourceful and able to work independently once assigned tasks.
– Able to learn and adapt to changes quickly.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.

[PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS]
– A recent graduate from a good university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Business Administration.
– 2-3 years of work experience in a multi-national company.
– Past experience in managing schedules, office resources or planning and executing events and functions is an advantage.
– Strong IT skills, with proficiency in the advanced tools on Google Applications, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
