The U.S. Mission in CAIRO/EGYPT is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for position of Administrative Clerk in the Regional Security office.

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time 40 hours per week.

Duties
Basic Function of the Position
Prepares and schedules for personal security background investigations and special investigations assigned by the Senior Investigative Management Specialist. Assists the Regional Security
Office in the entry and maintenance background investigation records and security reports. Screens calls and visitors for the FSNI office. As administrative assistant to the senior investigative management specialist, the incumbent handles the administrative preparation and documentation of all kinds of sensitive and complex investigations. The incumbent also provides general assistance towards the comprehensive goals and responsibilities of the Regional Security Office, in order to resolve specific problems and to exercise good judgment on administrative matters.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of administrative/secretarial experience.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of general office management procedures and practices.
Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school studies is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level III (Good working knowledge) speaking/writing/reading of English is required. (This will be tested.)
Level IV (Fluent) speaking/writing/reading of Arabic is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: – Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
– Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint) and 40 WPM typing ability.
Qualifications:

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office. The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
