Egypt Power Group Is Seeking For Logistics Supervisor
Duties Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
2. Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
3. Reduce the transportation costs by comparing quotations from different service providers and choosing the lowest with acceptable lead time.
4. Arrange all shipping documentation with suppliers from the date of PO.
5. Review all import documentation drafts with the suppliers to ensure that there are no mistakes before receiving the original docs.
6. Follow up all shipping stages of goods from the supplier side till the shipment receive our destination.
7. Report any losses or damage of goods in the containers during transportation.
8. Negotiate logistics charges with the suppliers to minimise the overall cost.
9. Monitor and update any remarkable changes in transportation costs to be calculated in the pricing of the product.
10. Lead time tracking of each shipment to find any variances.
11. Prepare order status report to provide to the production planning department.
12. Record all expected arrivals in the stock flow sheet with the production planning department.
