Urgently NOOR is currently open the hiring of a Network Engineer to join Backbone and consumer technical department.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
– Use tools and utilities to resolve network performance and related system/network issues.
– Access to network devices (Routers/DSLAMs and switches) for maintenance and troubleshooting, with the possibility of dispatching and following up with a Field Technician for any appropriate problem.
– Suggest corrective/prevention action plan for any repeated/chronic network problems.
– Receiving incoming calls and providing technical support to ADSL problems.
– ADSL Troubleshooting and fixed line issue.
– Ensuring that all ADSL support calls and tickets are logged correctly.
– Responsible for wired and Wireless router configuration and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications:
– Graduated from communications or computer science departments
– Have a strong verbal customer handling, Communication skills and able to work on shift basis.
– Well understanding for CCNA course and also Understanding Networking & TCP/IP Protocols.
– 0-2 year of experience in the related field.
– Very Good in English writing, listening and speaking
– knowledge of:
– Broadband technology.
– BGP, MPLS, MPLS TE, L3VPN, L2VPN, OSPF, ISIS
– TDM/ATM/Ethernet technologies.
