Needed: IT Technical Support Engineer
A Technical Support Engineer is needed to deal directly with employees who have technical issues in an Agricultural Machinery Import company.
Responsibilities:
– Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
– Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
– Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
– Repairing equipment and replacing parts
– Providing support to employees with any help needed using software applications
– Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
– Responsible to ensure constant and stable Internet connection
– Setting up and connecting all company machines via an internal network
Requirements:
– Good knowledge of Linux and open source software
– Excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills
– Likes to keep up to date with the latest technology
– Capable of working under pressure
– Previous experience as an IT support is a plus
