Bachelor of Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2-5 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong object-oriented programming skills in a language such as C#.
Strong multithreading, real-time, or asynchronous programming skills.
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills in English.
Ability to collaborate with team and stakeholders to derive options and solutions to problems.
Strong analysis, problems solving, design, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in C# and C++ programming an asset.
Experience with JavaScript and HTML an asset.
Experience with SNMP and CAN-bus interfaces an asset.
Experience in electronics hardware / power systems an asset.
Experience with CodeWarrior, Code Composer Studio, Visual Studio or Windows CE an asset.
Experience with Agile software development methods (e.g. XP, Scrum) an asset.
Work Environment:
Regular work hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday, but as this is a customer and deadline-driven environment, flexibility is required to perform work outside of normal business hours.
