Regional Sales Manager New York City Job August2013

Our client, a large and growing global manufacturer of Food Ingredients is adding to their sales staff. We are recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager for the US market who will assist new and existing customers by cultivating business/customer relations, recommending new products for development, and managing profitability.

To be considered, you will need experience managing sales of Food Ingredients, to clients ingaged in Bakery, Margarine, Non-Dairy, and Frying. Experience with customers like Kraft, Kellogg, Campbell Soup, ConAgra, Reckitt Benckiser is required. In this role you will:

Formulate pricing / negotiate contracts and supply agreements
Work with trading to provide raw material market information and/or presentations to customers
Penetrate customer functional areas (beyond R&D and procurement) to identify new opportunity
Prepare annual strategic plan to increase volume, profitability and product selections
Prepare strategic plans(s) for specific customers
Provide technical and commercial feedback to customers as needed
