Qualifications and knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree) required
• 3+ years of experience with strong emphasis on user interface design and web application development using MICROSOFT technologies, including ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC) and C#
• Significant portion of above experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company
• Experience with one or more common source code control systems
• Ability to design and code medium to large size applications
• Experience with web application development using ASP.Net Web Forms and/or ASP.Net MVC
• Experience with developing databases on Microsoft SQL Server
• Demonstrate skills in data structures and algorithms, coding, and formal test techniques
• Experience with commercial software application development
• Experience with service oriented design
• Experience with using and administering common Web Servers including IIS
Main Duties:
• Design, develop, enhance, and test client applications as part of product development cycle
• Understand business requirements and develop applications including highly appealing GUI that meet those requirements for new and existing products
• Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the product life cycle
• Analyze and fix software errors in a timely and accurate manner
• Team with Project Manager, Architect and client personnel to communicate status and results on a timely basis
