About the Job

Job Requirements and Skills

Knowledge of graphic design software and tools, including:
· 2+ years professional design experience in user interface design, web applications or enterprise software
· Expert skill level in standard design tools e.g., Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, etc
· Expert knowledge of rich web application design methods, usability, navigation schemes, hierarchy & composition, information architecture and current design trends/best practices for Web
· Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
· Thorough understanding of user-centered design and web standards.
· Self-motivated with excellent presentation and communication skills.

Job Title: Web Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
· Placement and layout of web site pages given client provided content.
· Development of robust and user-friendly .NET-based web applications.
· Design and creation of relational database schemas.
· Design, create and program SQL Server databases per project needs
· Perform routine site maintenance as needed.

Job Requirements and Skills

A self-motivated individual needed with the following experience:
· BS in computer science or a related field.
· Good experience in HTML/XHTML,CSS,JavaScript and jQuery.
· 1-3 years of experience in programming language such as PHP or Python or Rails.
· 1-2 years working experience in relational database systems such as MySQL.
· Self-motivated with strong self-management skills.
· Experience developing and implementing open source software projects.
· Plus:

· NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Couch base.
· Good Drupal experience.
· Linux and open source development.
· Agile and Scrum.
