QA/QC Coordinator
Edmonton, AB
Air Liquide’s Global Engineering & Construction division is seeking a Quality Assurance/Control Coordinator
at our Fort McMurray, AB location.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience.
The main objective of this role will be to own the responsibility for the QA/AC (Quality Assurance/Quality
Control) on the site they are responsible for.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Assume ownership and take responsibility for QA/QC planning
Manage the QA/QC between disciplines at site as well as between partners and sub-contractors
Demonstrate technical experience along with QA/QC management and leadership
Ensure the quality of QA/QC according to provincial and international requirements
Participate in the early stages of the engineering phase of the project regarding QA/QC issues and implement
a project specific quality management system
Observe the business strategies and procedures specified by the management board
Develop a consistent concept for the execution of the QA/QC work on the basis of contractual documents
and specifications including the latest version of the project schedule
Plan and organize the site QA/QC infrastructure
Evaluate the quality system of Subcontractors together with Discipline Superintendents and review/approve
Subcontractor Quality plans; inspection and test schedule according to contractual code and specification
requirements
Implement QA/QC Manuel and Management System
Prepare and perform Site Audit Plan
Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
The successful candidate will have proven organizational/communication/leadership skills, be an analytical thinker and
have an inter-discipline mindset.
Travel is a requirement of this role.
