Candidate we are seeking
Channel management is vital for the success of any business operating in the retail space. Channel management must drive performance around company objectives through the right partnerships with top-tier customers, in a manner that guides behaviors, creates value and is operational for the company.
We’re seeking candidates who have a strong sense of initiative, self-direction and confidence. You have a willingness to learn and adapt with an emphasis on detail. You are customer-focused with a positive market approach and good levels of intuition. You possess excellent relationship / communication / presentation / negotiation skills and have the capacity to convince and influence.
o Analyze results of retail channels, in depth analysis of competition, distribution models
o Developing a continuous program of shopper analysis and understanding for the category/business
o Understanding shopper and customer needs within each key channel
o Defining the priority channels for the Category/Business
o Identifying key opportunity areas within each priority channel
o Understanding and using the different sales and profit levers (e.g. product mix, pricing, promotional strategy, customer mix and differentiation) to drive sustainable profitable growth for both your category/business and the customer.
o Developing and implementing commercial activity calendar for the category/business
o Developing and executing trade marketing campaigns including visibility programs, loyalty programs and channel & customer promotions
o Driving commercial initiatives that are beneficial to the category/business and that deliver measured category growth and/or efficiencies for the customer.
o Creating and effectively communicating actions needed for superior outlet execution, by defining clear ownership and deadlines.
o Conducting regular reviews to track progress by identifying issues and implements corrective actions.
o Applying learning to continuously improve the execution ability at the outlet level.
o Conducting regular visits & relationship building events with key customers all over Egypt
We’d Love to Hear from People with
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising or Communication.
- +3 years of experience in trade marketing department within FMCG
- Experience in development & execution of trade marketing campaigns, loyalty programs and market analysis
- Effective negotiation skills with the objective of reaching mutually acceptable agreements with customers
- Strong project management & time management skills while working under tight timelines
- Outstanding communicator with strong ability to collaborate proactively with stakeholders to drive results
