About the Job
- Developing applications for devices powered by the Android operating system
- Accomplish any development related tasks assigned by Team Leader
- Translate business requirements and wire frames to Android screens
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers and integrate the GFX resources
- Collaborate with back-end developer to integrate RESTful APIs
- Search for new APIs, Libs and modern solutions
- Debug, Fix bugs and solve issues
- Support junior developers and preform code review sessions
- Evolve in projects estimates and participate in plan writing activities
- Maintain current projects and ship new features
- Test application scenarios and make sure that the app is working as expected
- Publish the applications on play store
Job Requirements
- Solid Understanding of Object-Oriented Programing concepts
- Familiarity with JAVA SE and PHP APIs
- Solid Understanding of Java common Design Patterns
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services and SOAP based Services
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Skilled in using Android Studio IDE
- Solid Understanding of Gradle Build System
