Vacancy : Internal Auditor
Business/Support Unit: Internal Audit
Reporting Line: Internal Audit Manager
Purpose: Provide assistance to the Internal Audit Manager in conducting Internal Audit reviews of branches, departments, subsidiaries and/or projects.
Duties:
1. Assist in identifying and evaluating the firm’s risks areas and provide input to the development of the audit plans.
2. Perform audit procedures by:
a. Identifying and defining issues
b. Developing the internal audit criteria
c. Reviewing and analyzing evidence
d. Documenting processes
e. Conducting interviews
f. Developing and administering surveys
g. Composing summary memos
h. Preparing audit work papers
i. Identifying, developing, and documenting audit issues and recommendations
3. Keep the senior team members informed of the status of the audits in progress and of any significant issues on a timely basis.
4. Follow-up on the implementation of Internal Audit recommendations on a timely basis.
5. Monitor margin and over drafts, budget deviations and entities’ expenses on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
6. Assist in the preparation of the quarterly reports for the Audit committee and Board of Directors in order to monitor the internal controls and risk management procedures.
7. Make recommendations on ways to improve audit work processes internally.
8. Stay up-to-date with the rules, regulations and standards in the internal audit field.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. From 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar position.
3. Excellent command of Arabic and English.
4.Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
5. Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
6.Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
7.Ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.
