Job Title
Xamarin Mid-Level Mobile Developer
Location
Amman – Jordan
Accountability / Responsibilities / Functions

Under the direction of the Software Development Manager the Xamarin Mid-Level Mobile Developer will be responsible for:

1. Designing, developing and deploying Mobile Applications using Xamarin under Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 based on industry best practices.

2. Designing, Developing and supporting application database from initial scope through product support based on industry best practices.

3. Quality assurance by employing the best practices in Software Testing including Unit Tests.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Knowledge

1. Graduate, preferably in computer science or computer information systems
2. Minimum overall experience of 1-2 years including practical experience in the following areas:

• Solid experience in developing iOS and Android apps using Xamarin framework and toolset (Xamarin Studio and/or Xamarin for Visual Studio).
• Solid experience in C# development.
• OOP and Design Patterns.
• Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
• Strong knowledge of the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and the entire mobile store life cycle including store policies, publishing, deployments, and provisioning.
• Creating apps for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Building graphically intensive UIs, managing multiple view hierarchies, and optimizing UI transitions and performance on mobile devices.
• Organizing and maintaining a common core shared amongst various platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.).
• Working with SQLite or comparable local storage frameworks.
• Xamarin Test Cloud experience is a plus.
• Prototyping is a plus.

7. Higher educational degrees or certificates related to the technical area of the job is a plus
