Job description:
-Responsible for the technical development and maintenance of multiple web sites and web related projects. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, always learning and willing to expand his/her horizons.
Requirements:
– Be highly skilled in writing back-end code that is as responsive, fast, simple and cross-browser compatible as possible.
– Take over the technical lead on projects and working with both designers and front-end developers to achieve stable, high quality web platforms that are easily maintainable.
– Be a creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
– Have excellent interpersonal skills and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Institute and adhere to best practices, be a strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor.
– A minimum of 2-3 years as a web developer for customer-facing websites.
– Strong PHP skills including: form checking, data validation, templates, sessions management.
– Exceptional skills in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
– Strong SQL and database management skills especially with MySQL
– Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
