Embedded Software Engineer – R&D Focus

My client is a major engineering company and is currently looking for a Software Engineer with a minimum 5 years commercial experience with Embedded C (in a Linux environment).
You will be working in my clients R&D team focussing on delivering new, innovative products in the telco field.
Technically you should have experience of the following:
High speed embedded systems implementation experience
Hardware integration
Linux development experience
Practical understanding of Internet Protocols (IP)
Wireless communications experience including 3GPP and WLAN technologies
Any prior knowledge of the following would be highly advantageous:
Scripting experience with either Python and/or Lua
RF exposure specifically RF test equipment
As this is an R&D focussed role in addition to being technically good you must also have the creativity and flair to deliver new products, it’s not essential to have prior R&D experience however if you have it would certainly help.
