PHP team leader
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage the PHP team, promoting the creation of elegant, practical solutions to meet the company’s business goals.
Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for team members.
Provide accurate effort-estimates for deliverables.

Be committed to the deadlines through follow up of tasks with team members.
Research and actively learn about new technologies and introduce them into the infrastructure.
Resolve technical issues that are escalated by junior and mid-level developers.
Job Requirements
Skills & experience:
• Experience leading a small software development team, in a fast paced environment
• A proven track record of providing effort estimates for deliverables and commitment to deadlines through task and team management
• Strong experience in PHP/MySQL/Linux coupled with a natural flair for issue resolution
• Database concepts and principles
• Knowledge of MVC Framework and Smarty Template Engine
• Expertise in RESTful JSON encoded API
• Expertise in Node.JS and Angularjs
• Review code, guide and apply code standard with the developers.
• Exposure to big data and deployment management
• Strong knowledge of source control using GIT
• Lead by example and provide technical support to junior team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in an Agile methodology: Scrum, JIRA
• Linux
• Experience in SOA
• Solid knowledge of open source CMS technologies and applications including WordPress, Joomla, Magneto and Drupal
• Experience of relational databases, system integration, service-oriented and web application architecture, responsive design, version control tools and third party APIs
• Proven experience of load testing, unit testing and page load optimization
• Passion for coding, design and web service development
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Highly motivated personnel with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time and budget
