Inventory Planning & Control supervisor
Job Description
Plans and controls inventory of finished goods, to meet sales demand. Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts. Develops and maintains inputs to inventory system. Coordinates with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Ensures adequate stock levels and dispenses maintenance parts, equipment, material and supplies
• Plans and controls inventory of finished goods
• Performs inventory count and identifies low stock levels for replenishment
• Generates, maintains, updates and files required reports
• Uses parts manuals, catalogs or on-line catalog information to identify parts as needed
• Performs cycle counts, location verification, and annual physical inventory
• Requires punctuality and regular attendance.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related Business field
Inventory Management Experience
Supply Chain, Inventory, or Logistics tra ining program is preferred.
Experience with MS office
Knowledge or Experience with a Project Planning related software is preferred
Material Requirements Planning,
Ability to lead a team
Excellent communication skills

Well organized and detail oriented
