Title: Street Theater field Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Duration: 10 months full time contract
Ref: STP/2015

A: Purpose of the job: The main purpose of the job is to coordinate a project that will run street theater performances designed to raise awareness of marginalized communities and to challenge racist attitudes in ten Egyptian cities. The project activities include street theater events, capacity building, film, and meetings.

B: Main duties and responsibilities: The tasks include, but are not limited to:

Coordinating for one capacity building event for artists.
Coordinate the logistical support for number of street events in Egypt and abroad.
Liaise and coordinate work with other colleagues working on the same cities using similar methodologies.
Conduct field visits, coordination meetings, and act as a liaison between project team and partners.
Support the project technical team for the data collection, documentation and reporting phases.
Provide information and outputs related to internal M&E measurements as requested.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

A. Experience

Essential

One-year experience of running street theater and/or improvised performances.
One-year experience of managing budget including activities in different cities in Egypt or abroad.
One-year experience of events management including schedules, participants and logistical support.
Experience of working with small CSO/CBOs in Egypt.
Experience of working with members of marginalized communities.

B. Abilities and Skills

Essential

Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
Good written and spoken English and Arabic.
Computer literate and knowledge of Word for Windows, the Internet and email packages.
Numerate and able to understand and present figures.
Excellent organization and management skills, and ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and to assess and absorb information quickly.
Ability and willingness to travel in Egypt and abroad as required.

أ- الغرض من الوضيفة

الغرض الرئيسى من الوظيفة هو تنسيق مشروع مسرح شارع والذى سيعمل على تقديم عروض مسرح شارع لرفع مستوع الوعى للمجتمعات المهمشة ومناهضة المواقف العنصرية فى عشرة مدن مصرية. انشطة المشروع تحتوى على فاعليات مسرح شارع، فاعليات بناء قدرات للفنانين،فيلم وثائقى وعدد من الاجتماعات

ب- المهام الرئيسية للوظيفة: المهام تحتوى على الاتى ولا تقتصر عليه

تنسيق فاعلية بناء قدرات للفنانين خارج الاسكندرية –

تنسيق الدعم اللوجيستى لعدد من فاعليات مسرح الشارع فى مصر وخارجها –

الاتصال وتنسيق العمل مع الشركاء الاخرين الذين يعملون بنفس الاساليب –

تنسيق زيارات ميدانية، اجتماعات والعمل كحلقة وصل بين فريق العمل والشركاء –

الدعم التقنى لفريق العمل المشروع وجمع البيانات والوثائق لمراحل المشروع –

توفير المعلومات المطلوبة للمتابعة والتقييم الداخلى على النحو المطلوب –

المواصفات الشخصية

أـ الخبرة السابقة

خبرة لا تقل عن سنة فى ادارة فاعليات مسرح شارع و/او عروض مسرح ارتجالية وتفاعلية –

خبرة لا تقل عن سنة فى ادارة ميزانيات انشطة فى مدن مختلفة داخل او خارج مصر –

خبرة لا تقل عن سنة فى ادارة فاعليات فنية او مجتمعية بما فى ذلك من ادارة جداول العمل والمشاركين والدعم اللوجستى –

خبرة فى العمل مع منظمات المجتمع المدنى الاقليمية او المحلية فى مصر –

خبرة فى العمل مع مجتمعات مهمشة –

ب ـ القدرات والمهارات الاساسية

مهارات تواصل شفاهية وتحريرية –

مهارات كتابة وتحدث جيدة باللغة العريية والانجليزية –

مهارات استخدام الحاسب الالى وحزم الاوفيس والانترنت والبريد الالكترونى –

مهارات محاسبية والقدرة على استيعاب المعلومات بسهولة –

القدرة على التنظيم الجيد، تحديد الاولويات والالتزام بالمواعيد المقررة لتنفيذ المهام –

القدرة على التزام الهدوء تحت الضغط –

القدرة فى السفر داخل وخارج مصر على النحو المطلوب –
