Database Administrator And Developer
Job Description:
will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a database. Additional role requirements are likely to include Application design, planning, development, troubleshooting configuration, and support in production environment planning.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems (CIS).
2. MCDBA Certification is an added advantage
3. Strong experience in Database Administration and Developing in SQL Server, Oracle server is an added advantage.
4. Knowledge in the development of SQL stored procedures, functions and triggers.
5. Tune database queries, tuning and Monitoring SQL Server.
6. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL server including Database Installation, Migration, Up gradation, Data Loading, Configuration Management, Enterprise Security, Monitoring and Tuning, backup and recovery and trouble shooting.
7. Knowledge and experience in High availability solutions tor MS SQL Server like Database Clustering, Virtual Server Clustering, Database Mirroring and scenarios of Disaster Recovery setups and solutions.
8. Strong knowledge of backups, restoration and recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication and failover, developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans.
9. Ability to be a productive database developer, specifically in regards to:
a. Stored Procedure Development
b. SSIS Package Development
c. SSRS Development
d. Relational Database Design
e. Implementing Referential Integrity
f. Developing with large datasets and millions of records
10. Responsible for developing and maintaining migration standards to ensure design, versioning and testing of all modifications are integrated based on the approved Systems Development Life Cycle. Will assist in the development of standards for migrating changes.
11. Perform logical and physical design, architecture, implementation and support for operational and warehouse databases while delivering high-quality data designs that are accurate, efficient, standardized, and well documented.
12. Knowledge on Blade Server, SAN storage solution, different versions of Microsoft Windows operating system. Knowledge of other operating systems will be an added advantage.
13. Good skill in communication and presentation.
14. Minimum 1 year experience in the same field

Location: Mohandeseen
Working hours: 9 Am to 5 Pm (Fri &Sat off)
Salary: EGP 3250
