About the job:
We are currently seeking Senior Tax Associates to join our team. As part of the tax team you will be working with our clients preparing tax returns and handling corporate compliance and tax consulting matters.
Job Summary – A successful Senior Tax Associate will:
• Take ownership for delivery of high-quality tax advisory work.
• Develop self and others, though seeking and offering on the job coaching and tax engagement experiences.
• Direct field work, inform engagement leaders about tax engagement status and manage staff performance.
• Complete tax advisory procedures and documentation.
To qualify, candidates must have:
• Strong academic record, including an accounting degree / qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a tax accounting role with exposure to tax matters.
• Experience in the areas of tax compliance, liaising with the revenue authorities, goods and services tax or value added tax, and payroll taxes.
• Experience in tax consulting, preparation of advice and tax planning.
• Integrity within a professional work environment.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
