Pre-Sales Software Engineer
You will lead/assist in coordinating and executing all technical throughout the sales opportunity. Your strong communication skills will enhance customer meetings, product demonstrations and evaluations. You will create and demonstrate simulation solution to streamline customer workflows, in support of the software sales process. You will support the sales team in pre-sales technical activities and will be instrumental in all stages of the sales process.
You will enhance customer meetings, product demonstrations and evaluations as an extension of our client’s team to empower impactful performance insight through simulation to solve.
Key Accountabilities:
– Lead and assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity, including customer meetings, product presentations and demonstrations.
– Analyze technical needs, requirements, and the state of a customer’s current infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows.
– Create and demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows.
– Participate in internal corporate initiatives to further enhance the solutions suites, presales/ sales enablement and professional growth.
– Create useful solutions to solve complex business problems by working across various teams and understanding the needs of our customers.
– Provide occasional classroom training, mentoring, account follow-up and technical support to assist client in the adopting and ROI.
Success Factors:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer / System / Communication Engineering.
– 3:4 years of experience in an engineering software environment.
– Experience using and programming user-developed subroutines.
– Experience with Scrum, DevOps, Agile development.
– Be an excellent system admin, deploy Virtualization, hands on experience in network and strong, knowledge of coding best practices, understand automation tools, knowledge of testing, understand security aspects.
– Must have passion and drive for technical excellence and high performance.
– Must have customer service aptitude and maintain customer focus.
– Ability to travel up to 60%.
– Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills. Independent, driven, and energetic with an engaging personality.
– Projects a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.
– Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills.
– Highly developed learning and thinking ability with direct client-facing experience.
