Job Title: IT Technical Support Specialist
Location: Smart Village, Giza
Job summary:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining company’s computer systems and networks. You will be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with these systems and will solve the issues either in person, remotely or over the phone.
Main Responsibilities
You will deal directly with employees who have technical problems such as trouble with their email accounts, forgotten passwords or viruses. Typical Technical Support responsibilities include:
Installation & configuration of a company’s computer hardware, operating systems and applications.
Maintenance and monitoring of computer networks and systems.
Logging the queries of employees.
Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.
Testing and evaluating new technologies.
Responding to call-outs in a timely fashion.
Following instructions, either written or in diagram form, in order to set up a system or fix a fault.
Job Requirements:
Years of Experience: 1-2
Bachelor degree in Computer science/electronics engineering or relevant
IT Tech support related courses is an advantage ex.: CompTIA A+
Thorough knowledge of MS Office is an advantage
Network general knowledge is a strong advantage
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Willingness to sometimes work unsociable hours.
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning & development.
