About the Job
Work as part of a team of developers to plan, design, document, develop, modify, test, support, and troubleshoot applications and related tools used for processing financial transactions in a C-based POS terminals.
- Excellent C/C++ skills. The job will involve designing and developing POS applications using both C /C++ programming.
- Experience in the POS or financial transaction processing industry.
- Ability to plan a technical project for yourself and others so that all milestones are met or exceeded.
- Participate in design, documentation, and code reviews.
Job Requirements
- Education/Certification : B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Required Knowledge : Previous application development experience in C or C++ with terminals from one or more of the following POS equipment vendors: Ingenico, PAX or VeriFone.
- Understanding of ISO8583 message specification for financial transactions.
- Knowledge and expertise of PCI technology, transaction processing, and related retail standards.
- EMV card processing and flow
- Source control software like SVN or GIT(preferred).
