About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Serviceability related testing (upgrade ,system expansion ,node and part replacement ,connectivity testing) of all new product versions.
- Documents validation and publishing.
- Service Enhancement Requests review and validation that are submitted by the services team.
- Drive the product roadmap and owns the serviceability asks.
- Interact with product support team, professional services, field services, product management and engineering to identify the most impacting product serviceability improvements to drive engineering to implement them into the product.
Job Requirements
Additional Skills:
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and products (implementation level)
- Working knowledge of PC or Server Hardware and Components or troubleshooting experience
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge such as one of shell or C++ or Python, ,Perl,XML etc..
- Linux or Windows or Unix Basic System Administration
- SAN experience using Cisco
- Understanding of Computing and Storage Virtualization
- IT infrastructure, cloud architecture and industry knowledge is a plus
- A VMware VCP 6 or later Certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Dell PowerEdge server is a plus
- Working knowledge of Networks to include TCP/IP , Ethernet , addressing , routing and subnetting.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Professional, dependable, and flexible team player.
