About the Job
- Define and oversee the product’s life cycle and manage it as required to meet deliverable for the business.
- Engage extensively with customers to gain first-hand insight on the customers’ and market feedback on the business’s product.
- Partner up with the sales sectors to build on product unit sales implementation as well as support strategies.
- Conduct relevant product research, establish competitive intelligence and various market analyses that supplement and complement studies.
- Represent the business and promote the product by advocating for its value and benefits at executive briefings.
- Manage the pricing functions focused around pricing strategy and execution to make sure that the target Gross Margin are met.
- Maintain Key Product Management Tools as Roadmap, Specification, Competitor Feature Comparison analysis, Price Positioning Matrix, Weekly Price Tracking, Product/SKU Channel breakdown.
- Focal contact person externally with vendors and brand Manufactures & internally with key sales functions, finance and marketing team
- Develop the initial full year product Plan aligning with product seasonality.
- Develop product business strategy- Analysis and reporting on cyclical reporting from third parties as GFK, sortimeter, Numeric and weighted distribution reports etc.
- Collaborate with brand managers, channel development, demand Planning, logistics, finance and Sales teams to discuss the needs in product road map
- Develop sales support programs and seasonal promotional price to increase sales.
- Provide different pricing options by customer grouping and additional discount by project magnitude and future business potential
- Manage slow moving items procedures including exit strategy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Post Graduate: Preferred MBA in Marketing Certificates
Training Courses:
- Solid experience in managing products through the entire life-cycle
- Substantial experience working in e-commerce and retail with logistics a plus.
Basic Skills:
- English Level: V. Good
- MS Office Level : Good
- Experience: 8 to 12 years
- Previous Experience: Product Management Supervisory Level: 8
