– Job Title: Accountant.
– Position: Finance Department.
– Location: Cairo – Heliopolis.
– Reports to: AR Assistant Manager.
– Working hours: 9 AM : 5 PM.
– Friday and Saturday off.
– Responsibility:
• Follow up on credit and cash customers’ outstanding invoices.
• Establish a good relationship with the customers and handle their disputed invoices and co-ordinate with internal relevant parties to reply to any clarifications might be received from the customers.
• Calling the customers with overdue balances to assure the timely settlement
• Ensure the collections documents to be filed in accordance with established procedures.
• Handling checks issuance related to operational needs.
• Back up cash safe custodian on leaves and out of office days.
• No audit or management letter points in own area of responsibility
• Ensure compliance with all local and global Finance SOPs.
• Pro-actively making suggestions for improvements in procedures/savings.
– Desired Background and Experience:
• 0-2 years of relevant experience with front office exposure.
• Good knowledge of the logistics business requirements is a plus.
• Excellent level of English language.
• Good communication skills (internally with colleagues and externally with customers).
• Good knowledge of PC software (MS Office and Outlook mail).
• Detail-orientation, punctuality and responsible.
• Ability to work under pressure with the customers and changing needs of the company
• Analytical skills.
• Team player.
