Medical Translator/Editor Jobs Feb 2019NSCE is hiring a full time Associate Officer at the Business Development Unit

Main Duties
1. Researching, Marketing and Networking
a. Searches on the internet for business opportunities (requests for proposals “RFP”, Expression of interest “EOI”, prequalification, Request for information, and grant calls.) as guided be the Unit Manager.
b. Searches the internet for consultancy firms and experts that work on governance and environmental management for possible collaboration with NSCE in the future.
d. Assists in the development of marketing materials and brochures in collaboration with Technical Units.
2. Tendering / Proposals Processing
a. Contacts potential consultancy firms / consultants to check their availability and interest and to provide them with the project information.
b. Follows up with the selected consultants to have the most updated versions of their CVs , rates, salary, certificates, declaration letters, and statements of exclusivity.
c. Edits the selected CVs as per the project needs.
d. Designs cover page and illustrated photos to be added in proposals in conjunction with the concerned technical unit.
e. Develops project introduction based on research outputs as required.
f. Follows up with the partners to send their documents according to the project’s needs, reviews the quality of received documents and communicates with the partners/ consultants if there is a missing document or information.
g. Participates in planning and scheduling for the development of proposals and follows up the compliance with the schedules as agreed by concerned parties.
h. Communicates with the donor / clients concerning NSCE raised questions and comments on the terms of references and shares the answers of the raised question with the concerned technical unit.
I. Coordinates the processing of proposal, EOI, concept note submission either it is hard & soft copy, and online through website.
j. Checks the proposals final versions in accordance with the Company proposal preparation checklist and its timely submission.
l. Follows up with the donor / client to receive a detailed evaluation feedback.
3. Prepares agreements and pre-bid agreements with consortium members in written documents as guided by BDU Manager.
4. Maintains and updates the unit database (CVs, financial documents, evaluation sheets, research table, past performance, and contacts).
5. Performs any other related duties as and when assigned by the BDU Manager.
Requirements:
– bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or related discipline.
– Good level communication and presentation skills.
– High level professional writing skills and computer skills
– Perfect command of spoken and writing English and Arabic Languages.
