Description 1 Work Program Budget (WP&B) and Corporate Plan & Budget (CP&B)
Analyze and validate Operators proposed Work Program & Budget (WP&B) and provide inputs during Corporate Planning & Budget (CPB) preparation in relation to Revenue, Production, PSC Cost, CAPEX & OPEX of the operations to ensure alignment and integration with PCSBs objectives & strategies.
2 Cash Call and Expenditure Reconciliation
Review, monitor and maintain an up to date cash call and expenditure reconciliation schedule and tracking system through providing recommendations to the JV Management & Operators while ensuring cash calls disbursements are paid as per value date stipulated in the cash calls notices to ensure expenditures incurred as per approved WP&B, aligned with Operators book and in compliance with JOA.
3 Production and Lifting Entitlement
Review the production and lifting entitlement by preparing and maintaining all detailed gas billing and invoices for natural gas and gas liquids for all JVs producing reservoirs/wells, production fields and PSC through the PSC accounts and resolve issues and discrepancies with JV Operators to ensure data are compliance to JOA/PSC.
4 Budgetary Control System
Maintain an effective budgetary control to facilitate JV management in managing budget utilization through review and validation of JIB, AFE, budget transfer, supplementary budget and proactively address discrepancies and ensuring cost recoverability to enable sound JV Management decision making processes.
Qualifications – Degree in Accounting or Finance / professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent). – 4 – 5 years of working experience in upstream operations is an added advantage. Behavioral – Decision making – Relationship building & networking – Communication Technical/Functional – Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations is an added advantage.
