EFG Hermes is looking for a Corporate (Senior) Information Security Engineer to join the IT Team. The Job Description is as follows:
Purpose:
As a part of the Security Team and take a leadership role in Supporting the implementation and execution of the company Information Security program.
Duties/Tasks:
1, Review system events and incidents on a daily basis and lead the investigation of potential incidents.
2. Participate in the day to day administration and management of information security tools as well as third-party/managed security service providers.
3. Oversee threat and vulnerability management processes, inclusive of vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts, monitoring of CVE and vendor notifications, etc.
4. Provide 3rd level support for information security tools and operational processes.
5. Conducts audits using tools such as vulnerability scanners, IDS /IPS, SIEM and Anti-virus.
6. Regularly audits all directory services and privileged accounts.
7. Remediates noncompliance of business units with IT policies.
8. Conducts in-house penetration testing and code-reviews of Prosper applications and platform.
9. Conduct regular security assessments of internally developed applications.
10. implement solutions for application monitoring, end-point application whitelisting, network and host based forensic readiness, DoS/DDoS mitigations, Database access monitoring solutions, PKI Implementations etc.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Computer Science
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience of business experience in the areas of Information Security
3. Good command of Arabic and English.
4. Strong technical knowledge of technology platforms, inclusive of systems, network devices, and security solutions.
5. Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, enterprise network and network security devices, relational databases, and other core enterprise technologies.
6. Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
7. Excellent writing/documentation skills.
8. Fluent with one or more scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, VB, WMI, Python, Ruby).
9. Network design and management; hands-on knowledge of OSI Model & TCP/IP stack.
10. Keen attention to detail.
11. Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
